If you’re local to Southern California and looking to expose your child to classical and/or orchestral music, check out the California Philharmonic 2015 Summer Season. The same concert takes place on Saturday evenings at Santa Anita Race Track and on Sunday afternoons at Walt Disney Concert Hall, but they are two completely different experiences! The concerts at Santa Anita Race Track are particularly family-friendly, with Face Painting, a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo, Playground and lots of beautiful green grass so kids can play on the infield where the concerts take place. Attendees may bring their own food and drinks, or purchase from food trucks.
