As we have been for the last few years, our family is continuing to balance paying off our last remaining debt with saving money for private school. Although I’m extremely happy to be mostly debt-free and our financial situation is enviable to many, in a way I miss the clarity of having the single goal of paying off debt. I know how exhilarating it is to watch that “amount owed” number go down, and to watch your debt snowball grow.
