General Mills has a new Big G cereal called Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme:

With an irresistible taste the whole family will love from a brand you trust, new Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme cereal is made from 100% whole grains with at least 14g of whole grain per serving (at least 48g recommended daily). Best of all, Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme cereal has only 9 grams of sugar per serving and is a good source of Calcium, Vitamin D, and 10 other essential vitamins and minerals.

I expected the cereal to look more like Cookie Crisp, so I was surprised that it was cute little round balls – they’re fast escapees if you overfill the bowl (not that anything like that ever happens around here), and a lot of fun. The cereal itself is tasty, but I was extremely disappointed to see a “may contain traces of peanuts” warning – if you have food allergy concerns, definitely be aware of that since there’s nothing about the cereal itself that indicates it might contain nuts or peanuts, and the last time I checked, the Cookies ‘n’ Creme candy bar doesn’t have a nut warning.
